The environment we aim to create in our workshops and retreats is one in which we work to create deeper relationships through understanding of others within the organization. This is accomplished through a process that begins with respect for each other. No matter where the organization begins, this is a crucial step in the process. We utilize the Circle of Trust process to build trust through listening to understand and sharing from experience, which leads to more respect, deeper levels of trust and the type of relationships that lead to accomplishing the goals of the organization.


The Circle of Trust is a process we have developed over years of working in our leadership retreats to help develop teams. The process works between individuals or groups to build on any relationship and includes four components:

  • Respect
  • Listen to Understand
  • Share from Experience
  • Deliver the Promise

While most people believe that building trust is a long term prospect, we have found that by following the cycle embedded in the circle of trust, every passing cycle develops both deeper levels of respect as well as trust between parties.
