Vision. Many people do not understand the difference between a Vision and Mission statement. Here is some clarification. Your Vision can be defined as a place in the horizon in which your organization is hoping to achieve, while the Mission of the organization is what you do and why you do it.
Of the two, we believe the Vision is more important. As Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you are going, how will you know when you get there?”
Steven Covey coined the phrase “Begin with the end in mind” We could not agree more. We have created a process that will assist you in defining the Vision of the organization. Once it is clear the next step is to share that vision with your team, obtain their buy in and watch your organization soar.
